Clay Hand-Building Session with Instructor

Visit the studio for up to a 2 hour clay hand-building session.

You are free to build whatever you wish within the session using your clay.  Session is made up of 1 hour 45min clay work and 15mins cleaning/tidying. 

This is an instructed / guided session but our friendly staff will be take you through the basics of sucessful clay building. 

Suitable for any age but under 8’s should have at least one adult 8+ at the table supervising (no requirement to pay to play with clay!).

Non-participating adults should book a seat with our studio fee of £5.00 which includes a drink on arrival from our coffee shop. 

Included in the session cost:  clay (up to 1kg each), use of our studio clay tools and, if required, bisque firing of items (£5.00 per kilogram)  

Please note that no clay must be brought from out with the studio.  We can only fire clay  purchased from Maisie Gray Pottery & Crafts to ensure firing success, to protect our kiln and safety of our staff.   

Optional Extras:

• Additional Hour of studio time subject to availability:  £5.00 per hour per person
• 500g clay:  £5.00 per 500g
